I completely missed this

when listening 4 times to Margaret Anna Alice's anthem "Mistakes Were Not Made"

Since I only listened to it, rather than read it, I had no idea that each short line has about 2 hyperlinks or citations in it, to articles expanding on the point.

I happened - for the first time in my life - to go to a “poetry reading” the other day. The idea was for anyone who wanted to go and sit in a circle and contribute or not as they wished, to reading out (or reciting from memory!) a poem of their choice, theirs or someone else’s.

I thought that next time I might read Margaret Anna Alice's anthem "Mistakes Were Not Made", so I needed a hard copy.

It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to have a written record of all the links. (If nothing else, someone might want to look something up during the poetry evening). So I have appended footnotes (endnotes) to each link, so that one can read the link address.

(Since Substack changes many of the hyperlink addresses to links which don’t show the address, I have added an “X” to the start of each one: this needs to be omitted. In the case of the only YouTube link a second “X” needs deleting - from “youtubeX”. Apologies for the Roman numerals: it’s another Substack thing when pasting footnotes).
