This is good. I need to read this closely......but I want to share this.....based on the beginning of the article:

For myself, a fine way to learn and differentiate when there is the "luxury" of time, is to go back to see what was expressed by others and myself. For others, it helps assess whether they merit further consideration, and for myself it helps me sharpen my focus, remember what I was thinking, realize where I might have been off-base, and remain consistent to my own self. At some point it seems more folks will do this and hopefully realize those who they can trust versus those who have consistently told lies.

~ trees ~

At the home we have had since 1994, its not on a large lot, but it is in a forested city, sometimes it gives me joy to see all the trees growing particularly the ones I either planted direct or transplanted or nurtured in place - we have some big trees in our yard, but room for more. I'm fond of cedars and they are all over our yard and some of them I planted are now more than 20 feet tall and healthy. There is one cedar that truly must have been over 5 years old, but it was growing on a walking path closes to a stepping-stone and it was barely getting by and was only 8 inches tall or so and very scraggly. About 3 years ago I decided I'm gonna try to transplant this survivor scraggly little tree even though I sort of knew the chances were not great. Well, that cedar is still alive, it probably has only grown about 4 inches and just recently is starting to finally hold itself straight. I suspect in about 15 years it will be a fine and dignified tree with plenty of space to grow. I hope so.

Thanks for your post,

BK

Since I got mention of this post, let me come back here and sadly report the cedar above described is now dead official. I tried to keep it alive, but my best efforts failed. Regardless, the effort was worth it and I took down another tree with the baby cedar so that is how it goes sometimes. The other tree was one I named Hillary for what it is worth - regardless - both trees are dead now.

Oh well.

Always nice to be wanted! ;-)

It is nice to be wanted but not essential.

Together we are better, but alone faith can move mountains.

Faith together is even stronger.

Probably the strongest of all is what Kropotkin put forth - you know....working together.

No matter, it is easy to go back and see what folks were saying in the year's prior and I think that is a fair way to judge anybody - whether they are full of bs or got something to contribute.

Well - welcome to my house, but if you come as an uninvited guest be aware, I have defenses in place.

Let me add, they are lethal.

My advice is to mind your own business, because if you come uninvited to my place, I will eventually deliver Justified Retribution if you came with harmful intent, and I'll take my time to figure that out, and then when the evidence is in, the Justified Retribution will be delivered.

Regardless, I subscribe to your place, you don't subscribe to mine I don't think, but you are welcome to my Substack place - so in that regards, you are an invited guest, but I hope you understand the sentiment I present when I choose to defend because if one does not defend then one gets subsumed.

Anyhow, I could walk around my yard, and I could point to this tree and that tree and say, I planted that, I planted that one as well, oh I remember planting that one and the other 9 that didn't make it. I remember that tree - I planted it. I remember that flowering bush - I planted it. I remember the bush used to be here, I tore its roots out of the ground and it wasn't easy, but it was fun. I remember it all - and I don't appreciate uninvited guests on my property, but if you come invited, and I'm the host, I'll do all I can to make your time shared together with the rest of us hear as peaceful, productive, and worthwhile as I can because I'm a good host. I take care of those I invite to my place - I feel half-way responsible for them when they are on my property and I take that seriously - so now you must know why I don't appreciate uninvited guests and if one shows up with bad intent, odds are my robot dog will spot it in advance and that bad intent will be the last the uninvited one ever has.

Well AT&T planted some line in my yard past the easement, but when the city fella after 2 years finally showed his ass up at my property, I told him, I don't agree with your assessment and I think you are wrong, but I'll bide my time even though I know that line is on my property and the junction box as well and I could cut the lines in that box, but I don't want to piss off my neighbors.

I appreciated the town fella making the effort to come and feed me his bullshit excuse and I know better, but I'll bide my time because there are more important considerations at hand, and I still have standing in the matter because I didn't back down on my sentiment. I just deferred it for the time being.

As it is, I expect the probability of the internet going down is increasing and frankly I hope it happens because then we will realize how much better it was in a way when communication was not taken for granted.

Speed is not that important - good communication is.

The problem is instead of appreciating what we have so much energy in effort is spent on needless flux and changes in operating systems and trying to get faster when what already is in place has not been appreciated - speaks to hyper flux that is of no benefit to anybody.

It just speaks to a spoiled sense of entitlement so many have and yet they have no appreciation for all the effort and hard work that went before....almost as if they treat their ancestors with no respect.

Suggest change is upon us and I suspect it will be swift.

Hey - 3 videos are already "not available" - you must be doing good work and this is why I decided again in 2023 to boycott Y-tube. So far, I've been pretty true to that resolution. In fact, it is sort of like going on a diet, the first part of the diet during the transition to a new diet is the hardest, but if you make it through that then it becomes 2nd nature.

I don't need Y-tube, censoring SOB's.....eff em.

I boycott them just like I boycott Israel......truly - who needs their bad ideas and who wants to perpetuate a "monopoly of sorts" respectively in reverse order.

BK
