You know when that library burned....supposedly had so many texts of wisdom.....

do you not think maybe somebody got them before they burned?

So, now I'm posting this as a test to see if it comes after the first post I already made.

Being tis a new site and all..

So, if there is a time delay, and it all needs to be checked out and such, just let me say, I advise against that - let the comments be free flowing and later on if need be the host can delete that which obviously does not belong or is inappropriate and none of my comments were as such, so I put this out there for more than just consideration.

Nice to see the comments posted, but there was a delay and maybe it is my imagination, but it seemed as if somebody was reading what I commented and trying to decide whether to allow it, and just to be honest - I don't hang out at places as such and I hope in the future it is a non-issue.

Peace,

BK

If somebody was, it wasn't me! I've just got back from shopping for a couple of hours!

I see that one can choose whether to order by first posted at the top, or bottom, or most liked, the default being the most liked.

Just for you (and the experiment) I'll change it to first posted at the top now 17:29.

Peace!

Ha, ha, ha.....

my guess it was something totally different then what I was speculating, but if I had a place of my own on Substack or some other entity, I would let the comments flow sequentially with the oldest comments placed first.

Peace,

Ken

Edit - some choose to have the most liked comments placed on top, but I believe that creates bias in the stream of comments, and as a bias-detector from the day I been born, I prefer to judge a comment on its own merits versus whether others like it or not!

(ha, ha.....

keep it coming please and really, I need to read more of this before I comment again.

Thanks for prompting me to think about this aspect I hadn't considered.

Plus, and lastly, in my opinion tis easier to follow the train of thought if comments are posted in order of the time they were made.

EDIT (91622 1008 est us of a place) - so really this comment should be last on the thread just now is what I think - take it or leave it...I reckon.

I see that the reader is able to order them or by likes or chronologically (although as far as I can see you may have to start at the bottom if you want that order.

Umm....a reader can set preference I reckon on Substack, but the Author, who ought be considered the "Host" of their place where they have made the effort to share ideas gets to decided default settings as well as "pin" posts I think being I seen that elsewhere.

You know, I think my feedback on format has run its course and really I need to read some of your stuff more closely, but rest assured I'll be practicing my "knots" because that was really some worthwhile info and that is what we all need nowadays when we are gonna be forces to survive by our wits and I hope with the help of neighbors that together we can not only survive together, but flourish. Fruit and bounty kind of flourishing is truly something I've imagined and I can feel it in my bones - it is so close. I want it.

Happy Equinox Day to you - it occurs supposedly today on Planet Earth at 9:03 pm est. The equinox represents the moment when the days start to get either longer or shorter depending upon where on the globe one resides. If one is south of the equator, today....92222, per my nomenclature, then the days are fixing to get longer and God Bless You - please start growing crops accordingly. For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere today is the time when the days will commence having less light and more night time and there is nothing wrong with that - it is part of the cycle of life and such.

One time I was in Iceland in the month of June and I'll be damned, we had to close the blinds up tightly to get a good nights rest. I love Iceland, I loved the time I spent there with my family, but I was seriously ready to get back to regular day and night I had become accustomed to......

From now on I won't make any formatting type comments and I will just lurk around and such but I'm glad to have subscribed to this place and I look forward to future wisdom shared.

Peace is easy,

Ken

Cheers Ken.

92222 is that 1776 ... 1779? Why since then?!

It is not 1776, it is 2022 on September 22, 2022, 92222 as I like to type it and I don't understand your comment.
